Is HeadStart Academy legit?

Short answer: we are an independent information site for international students. We are not a university, not a CRICOS provider, and not a migration agent. Here is exactly what that means — and what to verify yourself.

What we get paid for (and what we don’t)

• We do not charge providers for a ranking position or for appearing in our CRICOS-backed shortlists.
• We do not take education-agent referral commissions for the provider/course listings generated from the register.
• We may run display advertising. Ads are not the same as “sponsored provider ranking.” Ranking logic is documented on our methodology page.

Where the numbers come from

Provider names, CRICOS codes, course lists, delivery cities and published fee fields come from the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) snapshot dated 1 April 2026. Always re-check live status at cricos.teqsa.gov.au before you pay fees or accept an offer.

What you should still do yourself

1. Confirm the provider and course codes on the official CRICOS register.
2. Confirm current fees, intakes and English requirements with the institution.
3. For visa decisions, use the Department of Home Affairs or a registered MARA agent — not this site as advice.

Why a large site can still be useful

Scale comes from joining public register data to locations and study filters, then rendering unique shortlists and facts per URL — the Carevo-style approach of data infrastructure under the page, not identical paragraphs with a city name swapped. If two pages look interchangeable after you remove place names, tell us; we treat that as a defect.
